Oct 21-2017  Our little Trent was playing some baseball this fall.  Or at least he was trying.  The last day was cold, and he was not too cooperative.

You will note his excessive enthusiam.  It was cold out.

Even with his cousin out to cheer him on, he was still freezing and wishing he was somewhere else.

But then he got a little participation award for the season and finally found his happy face.

It has not been all play this summer.  Kim put together a chicken coop and he and Brandon built an enclosure.

Our new house in on the left.  Alfalfa in the field out back and the tree forest on the right.

The girls are finally back home.

I guess I am on a roll.  Two posts in one day.  The picture of Kim in the garden was taken in April, but the resulting photos were taken 7-9-2017.

In late June, we were invited by an old high school friend to come up to their cabin in Donnelly, Idaho, about 2 hours north of our home into the mountains.
We stayed in their guest room over the garage.  Here is a picture of the north end of Lake Cascade and the mountains to the west, taken from the top of the stair landing.

Our friends introduced us to ravor riding.  A fun but very dusty sport.

Kim and Kay by our rental "car" for the day.

Our high school friend, Jay Thomson and his wife Janet.  Her sister, Sharon, is the other blonde with Sharon's husband, Geroge.
We made it all the way to the top of the mountain.
Below in the vallley is the mountain town of McCall and Payette Lake. (Brundage Ski Resort is in the mountains just to the left of the lake.)  We were at about 9-10,000 foot elevation and Kim could feel it in his lungs.  We didn't stay up there for long.

Kim was so excited to be back in Idaho that he decided to rework the sprinkler system for our garden.
Our garden is glad he did.
He even added sprinklers to the raspberries and blackberries.  They are very glad also.

I have been slow to put up posts this winter.  Seems like there is always something going on.  Here are a couple of Arizona pictures.
By the Gilbert Temple March 9-2017

Artifacts and historic railroad bridge over the Colorado River at what is called the Narrows in the background at the Yuma Territorial Prison site.  California in the back right of picture.  If the RV breaks down, we may have to use this wagon to get home.

January26-2017

Cute picture from home.  We miss our little Trent, but he is getting in his words, "More big."

His mother says, "Barely 3 and wants to drive to Guy's house."

He was almost ready 18 months ago.

Yes, we are still in Yuma.  Here is Kim still golfing.

Still golfing means he is still smiling.
